Candles can invoke so many things… From Peace, ambience, and wishes to protection, cutting cords, and manifesting. With my very special hand poured and magik infused Ascension Candles, I invite you to be lulled into a place of remembering, magic, and powerful manifestation!
The Divine containers for my candles call to me from all over the world and each one is one of a kind, if not in its design and make, certainly in its energetic imprint. When I receive them, I cleanse and clear each one thoroughly before I begin my alchemical process. If the vessel comes to me tarnished, I leave it that way or I polish it lightly here and there. To me, it symbolizes how we as humans may be tarnished a bit on the outside but there is ALWAYS light within!
Every candle is immaculate and deep in its ingredients and the care, love, and energy I energy I put into making them. Each one is crafted during specific lunar cycles by me and only me! I infuse each top to bottom with specific oils, herbs, crystals, incense powders, and my own infused oils made from precious resins. I use 100% soy wax and I also use extremely high quality certified organic essential oils from trusted sources around the world that I’ve been using for years.
You may have commissioned me to create one just for you based on your wishes and intentions, you were attracted to one that I brought to life as I was lead by spirit, or you are thinking of purchasing one… These beautiful candles aren’t just any candles! They are powerful tools created with much love and many layers of channeled energy in its own extremely unique vessel! Your candle is created to be your companion of light and the perfect supplement for the journey that you are currently on!
Working with candle magick is an easy and powerful way of focusing energy, especially if you’re using them over a period of time! If magick equals intention plus energy plus action, then candle magick is the action part of the equation! By working with candles, we have a visible way of seeing our magick at work.
Below is my guide to working with candle magick, though there are many ways of doing this. My suggestion is to see what feels best for YOU and then stick with it! This way, the process is the same and the ritual becomes even more charged because it’s personalized and repeated.
1) Understand and embrace that there is NO right or wrong to working with your new Ascension Candle! Of course I am giving you some valuable tips here but the most important thing is YOU and YOUR intentions along with the timing and place that feels right to YOU!
2) Don’t be afraid of the word RITUAL! Using this word and establishing rituals for yourself does not mean that all of sudden you have to claim the title “practicing witch” lol! Ritual simply means a set of repeated actions and practices that help you to embrace ownership of your intentions and that which will help to bring you the blessings you would like to have in your life!
3) Set your intentions: The first thing to ask yourself in candle magick is if you want to attract or release something. Getting clear about what you’re trying to do will make the rest of this process much easier. If you want to write your intention, make sure you’re concise and know what you want to write. Do this on a piece of paper (known as a petition) and have it near your candle when it’s burning. This isn’t a required step for you but it really does help you to become fully present and involved in manifesting what you want!
4) Once you have your candle in her perfect spot, it’s time to ritualize it! Think of your own practice and your intention and get crafting. Try cleansing your space with sacred herbs like palo santo, sage, or sweet grass; also, think about taking a salt bath and putting on some relaxing music. Let others know not to distract you and start to connect to your breath. You can also create an altar or sacred space dedicated to your candle ritual/practice and what you’re calling in or releasing. When you’re ready, light your candle and state your intention. Take some time to meditate on the flame, or simply reconnect to your body and breath.
5) My candles are created to stretch over a few days or longer so do not think you have to burn it down all at once! —and this is important!—use a candle snuffer or a fan to put out your candle. Don’t blow it out! This keeps the energy of your candle and the work that it is doing concentrated!
6) When you’re done with your ritual, connect back to Earth (my favorite way is by placing my feet firmly on the ground/floor, visualizing beautiful tree roots growing out of my feet and securing back into the earthly realm) and thank the Universe for her magick! I Love to say “I LOVE YOU, I THANK YOU, AND SO IT IS!
7) Lastly, this is very important… Please remember that although Candle Magick is very powerful, YOUR INTENTIONS AND WHERE YOUR HEART IS is the MOST important thing! Your Ascension Candle is meant to work WITH you not do your work FOR you! Please practice making a point of centering yourself as you light your candle, take some very deep loving breaths with your hands over your heart and feel light pouring through it to open you up to your highest good! This will raise your vibration tremendously and make your candle magick even stronger!
8) Relight your candle whenever it feels right to you! There is no right or wrong to this BUT I do suggest each candle have its own specific intention!
9) Some just love how beautiful these candles are and don’t wish to burn them. That’s ok too! They are so filled with wonderful energy that you will receive the benefit this way too!

When you receive your candle, keep in mind:
~ Never burn your candle unattended!
~ Be sure to keep your candle wick trimmed down each time you burn it to keep flame reasonable! If the wick “mushrooms” at the top, trim that so that you get the best burning results!
~ There are bits of flowers, herbs, and leaves in your candle to enhance its energy and intentions.Although not always, sometimes the little bits may ignite but only for a second or two. Just think of this as lifting up your wishes and intentions! I suggest placing your candle on a heat safe surface, tray or plate to be on the safe side!
~ There are crystals throughout your candle to add to its power & magick and it should not affect the way your candle burns however, they may slide down as the candle burns. THIS IS NORMAL! If the crystals impede the wick of your candle, simply use tweezers or metal tongs to remove the crystals and put them on heat safe plate or surface to cool. You can then place them in boiling water to remove the residual wax and use then use them however you like! Cool recycling huh?!
~ Be sure to burn your candle long enough THE FIRST burning to ensure pool of wax across entire candle and to avoid tunneling down the center and wasting the wax along the sides!
~ Some of the vessels I use are organically shaped. This can cause an uneven burn but that’s normal and you CAN work with it! If you need help or have an issue just contact me!
~ Bring or ship your candle vessel back to me when it burns down and I will make your candle again for you for 50% of the original purchase price plus shipping.
